La familia de Ovidio Xol, cuya desaparición supuestamente está relacionada con la hidroeléctrica Renace. En Cobán (Guatemala) la hidroeléctrica española Renace se ha instalado con amenazas a la población y falsas promesas de desarrollo para la zona. La compañía también ha prohibido el acceso al río Cahabón para miles de personas y no ha respetado la estrecha relación de los indios mayas con el medio ambiente. Renace es una empresa guatemalteca, pero ha dado el contrato de la construcción de la hidroeléctrica a la empresa española Cobra (FCC).
