The rain is near Viso del Marques on January 1, 2010. Heavy rain and snowfall forced the closure of some 30 roads in Spain, mainly in the southwestern region of Andalucia where fields and homes have been flooded in recent days, officials said. The national weather office has placed all of Andalucia on a "yellow" alert -- the second level on a scale of four -- which warns that meteorological conditions "are not unusual" but "potentially dangerous".
